FORT BEND COUNTY (Covering Fort Bend News) – Fort Bend County will start its debris removal on May 20. There will be no debris pick up until that date. Debris will only be removed from properties affected by flooding.
Debris will not be picked up from private streets or gated communities.
A flyer will be distributed that explains how to separate the debris and where to put it so crews can take it away. There will also be a video that explains the process on the Fort Bend County Homeland Security/Emergency Management website.
There will only be three passes of crews picking up the debris. Homeowners will be alerted after each pass.
