5th Annual Go Fish at Parks Youth Ranch Scheduled for April 6

RICHMOND (Covering Fort Bend News) – The 5th annual Go Fish at Parks Youth Ranch, 11614 FM 361 in Richmond is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 6. This family-friendly fishing derby provides young anglers an opportunity to experience fun in the great outdoors. Parks Youth Ranch has two ponds stocked with catfish and bass, which means all participants will have a chance to catch that special fish. Additionally, lucky participants who catch the first fish in their age group will receive a trophy.

No fishing experience or fishing license is required. Just bring your poles, bait is provided.

Parks Youth Ranch opened its doors in 2011 to provide emergency shelter, counseling and life changing services to abused, at-risk and homeless youth ages 7-17. Parks Youth Ranch provides services to youth who have been abused or neglected by their families and are in need of a safe, supportive and stable home. In the eight years since opening, PYR has provided a “Home for Today and Hope for Tomorrow” to more than 1,000 children.

Tickets for Go Fish are $10 for kids and adults. This includes lunch, carnival style games and bounce houses.
