Fort Bend County Judge Announces the Grand Opening of the Mission Bend Branch Library

FORT BEND COUNTY (Covering Fort Bend News) – Fort Bend County Judge KP George has announced the Grand Opening of the Fort Bend County Libraries newest addition, Mission Bend Branch Library, which will officially open its doors at 10 a.m. on Feb. 09. The Mission Bend Branch Library is located in Fort Bend County Precinct 2 at 8421 Addicks Clodine in Houston.

The event kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Fort Bend County Judge KG George, Precinct 2 Commissioner Grady Prestage and other speakers will offer their remarks in the front of the library.

“I am proud to help open this library and hope it will be one of the most active in our county. Opening facilities such as this allows us the ability to enhance and expand our services to the community.” Said George.

The hours of operation for the new branch library will be as follows: Monday, noon – 9 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Thursday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Friday, noon – 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The library will be closed on Sundays.
