ROSENBERG (Covering Fort Bend News) – The weather forecast for Friday, Dec. 7, is all but guaranteeing a rain-soaked evening for the kick-off of the annual Rosenberg Christmas Nights Celebration, but with a few tweaks to the schedule, the free family event will still go on.
The Christmas Tree Lighting that was scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, will be moved to Saturday at 6 p.m. at the 3rd Street Art Park in Historic Downtown, but Santa will still be on-hand for indoor photos Friday night at the Railroad Museum and Saturday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on 3rd Street near the Christmas Tree.
The Snow Slide, Trackless Train, Decorated Ornament Voting, and Ice Skating Rink have been postponed until Saturday, Dec. 8, and will be open from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.
For those who have purchased tickets for “Dinner Under the Stars,” this event has also been moved indoors. Dinner will start at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at the Ol’ Railroad Café, located at 819 2nd Street and CAST Theatrical Co. performance will be upstairs at 830 3rd Street (located next to Roots and Relics).
