FULSHEAR (Covering Fort Bend News) – Scarecrow Fest is returning to Cross Creek Ranch on Saturday, October 20. There will be carnival rides, midway merchants, face painting, live music and of course a pumpkin patch. Admission to the festival is free. The event is open to the public.
One of the scarecrows was spotted at the Fulshear – Katy Area Chamber of Commerce meeting Wednesday morning. She looked pretty happy that it’s almost time for the annual family event.
One of the fun events at the festival will be the superhero scarecrow contest. You can display your super scarecrow for the judges. Perhaps it will it be a scary Spiderman, or a trick or treating Thor. The options are endless and the choice is yours.
There will be food trucks from The Crepe Machine, Melt Grilled Cheese, Bake Potato, Curbside Sliderz of Katy, Anna’s Greek Gourmet, Friohana Ice, Tugo Kitchen, and Mooseum Ice Cream.
Presale tickets are on sale now for unlimited carnival rides. The presale price is $10 or you can pay $15 at the door. Just stop by the welcome center to pick up your wristband with proof of purchase prior to the event.
