Fort Bend ISD to Host Special Education Parent Information Meetings

FORT BEND ISD (Covering Fort Bend News) – Fort Bend ISD’s Special Education Department and Learning Support Services will be hosting three parent informational meetings across the district during the month of April and the beginning of May. These meetings are being held to provide parents with information regarding FBISD’s SPED and 504 programs so that parents can make more informed decisions for their children. An update on the Texas Education Agency’s Corrective Action Plan will also be discussed. The content at each meeting will be the same.

The meetings will consist of informative presentations. Following the meetings, parents will have online opportunities to provide feedback, ask questions, or request contact from a District administrative team member.

The meetings will be held on the following dates, times and locations:

Tuesday, April 24

Elkins High School – Library (7007 Knights Court, Missouri City 77459)

6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Monday, April 30

FBISD Administration Annex – Main auditorium (3119 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land 77479)

6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Wednesday, May 2

M R Wood Center – Gym (138 Avenue F., Sugar Land 77498)

6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
