Fort Bend ISD to Present its 2018 JROTC Pass-In-Review

FORT BEND ISD (Covering Fort Bend News) – The community is invited to join Fort Bend ISD at its 20th Annual JROTC Pass-In-Review. The event will be held Wednesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at Hall Stadium, 3335 Hurricane Lane in Missouri City.

The JROTC Pass-In-Review is a long-standing tradition within the military that allows units to parade in uniform before the District Commander. The event will showcase JROTC cadets from all 11 FBISD high schools – recognizing graduating senior cadets while reviewing skills of the underclass cadets. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe the FBISD cadets perform various drills, as well as hear the playing of the four service hymns (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines), the National Anthem and Taps in honor of military personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice in serving our country.

Charles Dupre, FBISD superintendent of schools, will serve as the reviewing officer for this event. By order of Dupre, all graduating senior cadets will be relieved of their official duties to serve as reviewing officers for their final Pass-In-Review.

Visitors are asked to park on the home side of the stadium. In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.
