ROSENBERG (Covering Fort Bend News) – On March 17 the Rosenberg Animal Control and Shelter will team up with Brazos Bend State Park, located at 1901 FM 762 in Needville, for a “Adopt-a-Dog Hike” event. Between the hours of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., shelter staff and volunteers will hike the two miles around Elm Lake with several of the shelter’s most eligible dogs.
Each dog is vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. The dogs will be available for adoption for a $100 fee. The shelter, located at 1207 Blume Road, will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on March 17 as well.
