FBISD’s Small Business Enterprise Program Teams Up with Local Colleges, Universities for Monthly Workshop

FORT BEND ISD (Covering Fort Bend News) – The Fort Bend Independent School District’s Small Business Enterprise Program is teaming up with Houston Community College’s Small Business Development Program, University of Houston’s Historically Underutilized Business Program and Lone Star College’s Supplier Recruitment and Diversity Program for their monthly workshop. The meeting will be held Sept. 27, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the FBISD Triplex, 550 Julie Rivers in Sugar Land. These meetings are open to contractors, subcontractors and other small businesses that are interested in partnering with FBISD and learning more about projects included in Phase 3 of the 2014 Bond Program, which will go out for a bid this fall.

Those interested in attending can register online. Those interested in getting a vendor exhibit booth need to fill out the SBEP Workshop Vendor Booth Form.
