RIO BRAZOS (Covering Fort Bend News) – The boil water notice has been lifted in the Rio Brazos area of the Fort Bend County Fresh Water Supply District No. 2 public water system. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the notice to be issued on Sept. 1 following the effects of Hurricane Harvey.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of Sept 8.
Residents with questions should contact the district operator at 832-467-1599 or toll free at 1-866-1599.
