Sugar Land Woman Attacked in Front Yard

SUGAR LAND (Covering Fort Bend) – Sugar Land police are looking for a man who attacked a woman in her front yard in the 1200 block of Spinnaker Way and stole her purse on Nov. 27.

The woman said she arrived home from a grocery store in Houston at about 5:15 p.m. and was adjusting decorations in her front yard when a man grabbed her hair, threw her to the ground, took her purse and left in a light-colored sports utility vehicle. No weapons were displayed, and the woman suffered minor injuries that were treated at the scene.

She described her attacker as a male with dark hair wearing a white button-down shirt with khaki pants.

Police later obtained surveillance video from Macy’s in West Oaks Mall, 1000 West Oaks Mall, showing two men attempting to use a stolen debit card from the woman’s purse later the same day.
